The Wesley at WT Scholarship fund was established in 2024 to bless the outstanding students who volunteer hours of their time each week serving in leadership roles at The Wesley on top of their regular class and employment responsibilities. The fund was created in honor of Don and Virginia Johnston. Don was a long-time board member of The Wesley at WT and served at First Methodist Canyon for 40+ years. They loved assisting the students of WTAMU by inviting international students to their family's Thanksgiving dinners, keeping up with the gardens and grounds at the Wesley, fundraising, and fixing whatever needed fixing at the Wesley Parsonage.

Donations to the scholarship are open to all community members, alumni, and area churches who want to continually bless the students for years to come. For any questions about the fund, please reach out to Opportunity Plan.
